Joachim Jung has worked as Director of Photography for many film and television features in Europe and the USA. In recent years, he has directed and produced award-winning short films. He is currently writing and directing the web series "The Man for Your Sins". These series have received the "Best Actor Award" at the Realist Web Fest 2018 and several other awards such as two "Best Webseries" and two "Best Web Comedy". With his company Jung-Film, Mr. Jung also produces videos for companies and cuts film trailers.
I fell in love with María Mérida at a word music festival in Hamburg. She is a still quite undiscovered living legend. I felt I needed to pay homage to her with this film.
