Plaza Barceló in Barrio Obrero, Santurce, Puerto Rico. Contemporary Dance, the drum, community liasons, and music inhabit a space emblematic to the Puertorican working class; today an enclave of the Dominican migrant population. Co-existence, tolerance, and healing.

Greetings, Our short is actually devoid of genre. It is a poetic hybrid between videodance and documentary, without any kind of dialogue or spoken narrative. It is justifyably a music video, for the soundscape (all live, on-site music) is one of the assets of our very low budget production. This being said, the true value of our piece is the creation of a common ground between Puertorican nationals and Dominican immigrants in a "turf" where the gross quotidian is elevated to performance art and the strife between Puertoricans and Dominicans is assuaged through art. Thus, we affirm our intent: Co-existence, Tolerance, Healing. Very truly yours, Myrna Renaud, Producer, Director
