Aleš Kurt; Director and writer. Graduated in film and TV directing on the FDU in Belgrade. Guest student at FEMIS, Paris (film and film scenario)

Directed short movies: “Girl next door” ( 1988 ), “Love novel of an Eskimo girl” ( 1988 ), “ Man” ( 1990 ), “Woman’s day” (1991). In 1991 he wrote and directed full length feature film “America is doomed”, episode: “Revenge of a rose” (Award for the best first film at Festival of film directing in Herceg Novi). From 1987 till 2008 he directed a number of short and long documentary films. In 2012 directed a short feature film “Akumulator”. (Cannes film festival 2012) Co writer for long feature film “The cannon were hot” (2014).

Among others he worked on TV projects an documentary’s: “Great New Year R’n’R fairy tale” ( 1991), “Directors portrait” ( 1997 ), “Bahtalo Drom” (2004). “Guber” (2014); “In motion” (2015) He directed and produced a few TV – serials.

He worked on theatre performances as director and writer, most important ones are: “Dialogues in hell”(1996), “Stop machine” ( 1997), “If this were a theatre performance” (1999), “Orlando furioso” (2000), “Measure for measure” (2003), “Cirques Inferno” (2004) “God, War, and the other things” (2008) “Swedish heart of my mother” (2009) , “Concert of birds” (2012); “Teferič” (2014); “Elizabeth Bam” (2014); “Master and Margarita” (2016) etc..

In 2014 he founded a Sarajevo street art festival – FUU. From 2016 he becomes director of Sarajevo war theatre – SARTR.
