Isolated, emotional boxes.
In addition to the high level of pollution in large cities and the isolation resulting from digital technology, Spain is faced with the problem of access to housing, which is becoming increasingly difficult. Rents are skyrocketing due to the high demand for tourist apartments, and investment funds have acquired many homes, even subsidized ones. Citizens are forced to move their homes to the outskirts of cities, affording access to tiny homes. In the not-too-distant future, we will live in a new, more beautiful world, more connected to ourselves than ever before. Our emotional isolation will be our safe haven in a hyperconnected world.

Cajas emotivas, aisladas.
Al elevado grado de contaminación de las grandes ciudades, el aislamiento, fruto de la tecnología digital, España añade el problema del acceso a la vivienda, siendo cada vez más complicado. Los alquileres se disparan, debido a la gran demanda de los pisos turísticos y los fondos de inversión se han hecho con muchas viviendas, incluso de protección oficial. Los ciudadanos se ven obligados a desplazar su domicilio a los límites de las ciudades, accediendo a viviendas ínfimas. En un futuro no muy lejano viviremos en un mundo nuevo, más bello, más conectados que nunca con nosotros mismos. Nuestro aislamiento emocional será nuestra caja en un mundo hiperconectado.

My work of art arises as a critical reaction faced with social injustice. I perceive that the humanity is submitted to a system which is imposed and whose unique exit is death. But the death, which can be emotional, social or physical comes smoother by the romanticism by the beauty of the context or by the religious symbology. All this reduces the affliction produced by death and gives meaning to the final composition showing feelings as pain, guilt or loneless. My life, my experiences and my close acquaintenance´s ones are the source of my inspiration. I try to report every social thing that I consider it can be improved.
look for a lack of a defined time and space in order to obtain the most generalisation as possible and so the clothes and the figures are as simple as i can represent them. These figures don´t have any decorative element and their models are always my sister for women and me for men just to insist specially in the ideas.
The hardness of the topics contrasts with the beauty of the result. Through this beauty I try to catch spectator’s attention to introduce them in this world that is, in fact, our world.
