E – Our E-waste Problem
E: Our E-waste Problem explores the consequences of our consumption habits.
E-waste is a global problem that has some local causes as well as local solutions. The documentary explores both the local and global, starting with "Where does our trash actually go?" This question is rarely asked, yet it permeates our lives multiple times every single day. The documentary then explores best practices to avoid shipping our e-waste to countries that don't have the capacity or regulations to tackle it.

E – Our E-waste Problem is my first short film and was an amazing learning experience. We started with the question of, "Where does our old cellphone go?" and it took us on an interesting journey, learning both about the filmmaking process, and the impacts of our unsustainable consumption habits.
Each of us director brought unique perspectives on storytelling and really pushed each other to make an informative and interesting documentary.
