Act of Choice - Trailer

This is the story of a young boy 'Harsh', who aspires to live his dream of becoming an actor but confronts the biased choices of his mentors, society & parents. Harsh participates in a play in his college and he starts feeling a deeper connection when story of the play starts relating a lot to his own.

'Choice is a trait that defines us & one should dare to live for her/his dreams. Satisfaction over compromised success' is the message through this inspirational story.

Director Biography - Mayank Singh

Mayank Singh is a mechanical engineering student from Gautam Buddha University. In 2013, he collected a team of some passionates who founded a film making group namely, 'Shaping Dreams to Sky'. The team auditioned for people for acting, dance, editing, cinematography, VFX and another inclusions for his script, 'Act of Choice'. More than 300 people came together to be the part of a full length 2 hours feature film project which took 10 months of effort and even after numerous hurdles, it came out to be a success after screening in some universities. Film includes a message which relates to every individual who is or was a part of our education system. He sees forward to grow the talent of his passionate team, aiming to deliver ideas and entertainment.

Director Statement

Products of mine are implicitly dependent on the taste of the audience. In such a diverse form of audiences, we can't expect 100% standing ovations, stories pass through us, few connect and few don't. My belief is that, an artist must cleave his/her passion to process than the product. Give your best and rest just follows.
I am enthusiastic about telling stories in non-linear fashion where audience also sinks in and feels to be the part. I like to survey for really exuberant & diligent people who, just like ingredients of a new dish not known turn up a wonderful artistic product.
Each artist has his/her taste and I love art as it's the only field where one gets an open opportunity to, be different and wow other people.
