Omar Sfeir (born 30 December 1993), Lebanese young filmmaker Studied cinema and audiovisual at the Institute of Fine-Arts ll- Have worked in more than 5 years is the photography and film making scene.
My work is based on visuals, it is stylized, highly emotional and sensational.
The reality in my films is shown in a lyrical way.
It is only about the human, and his deep feelings.
Everybody has past memories. And with these memories, we create stories.
Stories can definitely alter lives, even slightly. My family's stories, my personal experiences, people I've met, hearing their stories and watching their behavior have affected me.
From my childhood, my camera, the theater costumes, my brushes and paint buckets were my only refuge.
I have always considered art as a means of escape for me, my art is my only confidant that can never betray me or judge me, but instead it helps me make clear my worldview.
I have experienced the divorce of my parents at the age of 13 years that is the only reason I speak of incomprehension, separation and indifference within a couple, these terms have marked me and have been present throughout my life.
