Delirium

Federico is working a dead-end job and deeply dissatisfied with the status quo; and his friends, Mariano and Martín, are aimless in their pursuit of a promising future. The trio strike up a seemingly foolproof plan to find success, fame, and wealth: they will produce a low budget film in hopes that it will be a runaway success. The only thing they need is a recognizable movie star. Through a series of misunderstandings, they manage to book Argentina’s biggest film star, Ricardo Darin (playing himself), who believes he’s doing a favor for a friend. The production goes unsurprisingly off-course, leading to a situation that catapults the trio into the the public’s eye for all the wrong reasons, in this zany and hilarious comedy.
