Born on 5th October in the Jhalawar district of South Rajasthan, India, Dedipyaa Joshi completed his primary education in Kota (Rajasthan, India) before graduating from Jaipur (Rajasthan, India) in the late 90s. With a career spanning 26 years in Mumbai (Maharashtra, India), he is a celebrated Indian filmmaker known for creating impactful films centered on social issues. His body of work includes award-winning feature films, TV series, and over 250 infomercials. Dedipyaa’s creative storytelling and commitment to authentic cinema have earned him recognition both in India and internationally.

✨Key Achievements & Awards

* Kaanchli (2020) – Directed, Produced and co-wrote this Hindi film (partially in Rajasthani), based on Kenchuli, a folktale by Shri Vijaydan Detha. The film has been widely appreciated on OTT platforms and won several awards, including:

Dedipyaa Joshi is currently engaged in shooting TV commercials and infomercials, while simultaneously overseeing post-production on his satirical Hindi comedy film Chuttbhayye (छुटभैय्ये), scheduled for release later this year. He is also set to begin shooting his next Hindi feature film in August, titled Us Raat Ke Baad, a female-centric socio-drama that explores contemporary social realities.
