3BORI
Goo-chan, Chori-senpai, and Pako are drifting through life, perfecting the art of slacking off.
Set in the quiet suburbs of Aichi, this is a story of three souls—a brother, a sister, and their eccentric companion—who find themselves idling on the fringes of a productive society. As they navigate their failed attempts at "proper" work and professional craftsmanship, their aimless days begin to collide with a modern obsession: the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
Through the simple act of finding value in a discarded object and the rare courage to acknowledge one's own worth, 3BORI explores the quiet rebellion of those who choose to live on their own terms. It is a minimalist comedy that asks a vital question: in a world obsessed with goals, can those who have been "kicked out" of the system ever truly be sustainable?

Born in 1976 in Tokyo, Japan. After working as comedy duo for 10 years, Takuya started to make films in his own way. His short films and feature films have been nominated and won many awards both inside and outside of the country.
Through humorous dialogue and philosophical detours, the film explores a peculiar anxiety: How can one be "sustainable" when they don't even fit into the current system? 3BORI: The Three Slackers is a minimalist comedy that asks whether slacking off might just be the most honest way to survive a world obsessed with goals.
