Director Biography - Lobo Mauro

Filmmaker, graduated in Physical Education at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and graduated in Cinema at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Film Editor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Rocinante Productions’s founding partner and edt.’s (Association of Professional Audiovisual Edition) founding partner. Director, writer and film editor of the short film "La Canhota de Dios" (Digital, 2014); "Bulbo" (16mm, 2002) and "O garoto que trocou a bicicleta pelo cinema" (Beta, 2000). Co-director and sound designer of the short film "Quando um burro fala...” (16mm, 2005) - Best Short University Film in Festival de Brasília; Writer and cinematographer of the short film "Dois homens" (35mm, 2001) - Best Short Film in Festival de Tiradentes / Best Screenplay in Festival de Varginha / Selection Rotterdam and Clemond Ferrand Festivals. Co-founder and coordinator of post-production of Ponto de Cultura 'Alice, prepara o gato', with several short films selected in many festivals. Screenwriter of the feature “O Desejo Viaja de Trem” wich won Edital 2008 da Secretaria de Cultura – RJ.
