A 13 yr old girl, a reacquaintance online with a boy slightly older whom she barely knew. She falls for his beguiling flattery and they plan to meet. She gaily sets off for the rendezvous which will happen in 28 minutes, along the way she is given many signs that warn her that all may not be quite what she expected. The countdown starts at the opening scene.

Director Biography - Tony Bianchi

British born, living in Spain since 1995. A latecomer to the world of filmmaking. A prolific lifelong 'creator' in technology and the arts, and an avid movie lover. In 2017 I awoke from a doze in the armchair with a complete, original and fascinating movie ready to transcribe. Never had any intentions to work in the movie industry, but since writing that spontaneous first, the tap has been opened and unable to stop the flow, now 60 amazing movies (and counting) written, and driving hard like a man possessed to get them made. So much to offer, and in a rush to do it.

Director Statement

28 Minutes was inspired by the personality of the protagonist, a personal realisation of the dangers of social media, and the horrific rise in acid attack crimes in London over recent years.

Although I have a large pool of creative and entertaining feature length movies already written, and I am yearning to make them, the first handful of 3 or 4 short movies I am producing are written primarily to be able to complete them within the confines of a zero budget. They are therefore produced using the resources which I have at hand, natural acting talent, and available locations. '28 Minutes' is the second of those shorts.
