28E: Last Stop
Set in Lisbon, this drama follows Lucas, a 28-year-old Brazilian immigrant working as a delivery driver. Despite his precarious situation, Lucas dreams of opening his own café and studies Business Administration online.
Against the backdrop of new strict immigration policies, Lucas interviews for a position at RapidTransit, one of the few companies licensed to employ immigrants. Initially hired, he sells his beloved motorcycle. However, his hopes are dashed when RapidTransit informs him that due to a new amendment, they've reached their immigrant employee quota.
The climax occurs on the night tram 28E. While on a video call with his mother, pretending everything is fine, immigration agents board the tram and begin checking documents. Lucas receives frantic calls from his roommate warning about ongoing immigration raids.
The story concludes ambiguously, without revealing Lucas's fate. The final scenes depict life continuing in Lisbon: a new anonymous delivery driver, tourists boarding the 28E tram, and Lucas's wooden bird carving abandoned on the tram floor.

First Time Screenwriter (Short)
I am a Brazilian screenwriter currently based in Lisbon. With a background in Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), I explore cinematic storytelling with a strong foundation in narrative and language. My scripts blend humor and drama to engage with social themes and contemporary issues.
Many of the stories I work on revolve around characters experiencing cultural shifts and personal transformations, often drawing from diverse perspectives and real-life observations. From mockumentaries to intense dramas, the focus is on creating authentic dialogue and dynamic storytelling.
Inspired by travel and cultural exchanges, my approach aims to connect with universal themes while maintaining a distinctly Brazilian perspective. The goal is to craft narratives that balance social critique with engaging character development.
