Writer Biography - Kevin Bibo

Inspired by a lifelong friendship with a visionary film director, Kevin Bibo channels his passion for storytelling into screenwriting, drawing from three decades of experience in education. His journey began as a theater teacher, where he ignited a love for the arts in young minds. As he transitioned to high school, he developed a dynamic media program that propelled students to prestigious film schools and inspired future filmmakers.

Later, he took on a leadership role, elevating career and technical education programs and launching award-winning initiatives that foster creativity and innovation. Now, as a director focused on college and career readiness, he empowers students to pursue their dreams. Despite his many accomplishments, Kevin's greatest joy comes from cherishing moments with his family, reminding him of the heart behind every story.

Writer Statement

This story needs to be told to help people understand the importance of men confronting and processing their father wound so they can become a fully mature man. Jed learning that his father was a hero helps him to better support his grandchildren. Armando returning to his family relieves his sons from their separation trauma.
