24 HOURS
24 hours is a heart gripping tale about Emmy, a mid-30’s
divorcee with a 5-year old son Terry. Emmy moves out of her
marital home after a bitter divorce into apartments located in
an affluent neighborhood in Kampala.
Here she falls in love with her kind and good looking next door
neighbor Mark who has a soft spot for her son.
After a whirlwind romance that gets Emmy pregnant with Mark’s
Child, Emmy discovers a side of Mark she didn’t know he had.
The drama starts when Mark gets jealous after Emmy refuses to go
with him on a week-long vacation to Rwanda in favor of staying
home to hang out with her son Terry whom she has been
neglecting.
Unbeknownst to Emmy, driven by irrational resentfulness over
Emmy’s decision, Mark decides not to travel and instead stays
behind to confirm whether Emmy really stayed behind to hangout
with her son or indeed cheat on him.
He spies on Emmy cordially chatting with her ex-husband Frank
who makes an impromptu visit to check on his son.
This irks Mark who decides to confront Emmy with allegations of
cheating on him with her ex-husband under the guise of staying
home to mind her son.
