In spring 2020 Danila and Karen move into a row house and spend their time in the garden, where they lead weekly phone conversations with each other‘s mothers. Danila gets to know Karen‘s mother Ulrike from Remscheid, and Karen - Danila‘s mother Tatyana from Moscow. Between intense phone sessions they play, work and idle about. Despite the historical and geographical isolation, the generational gap is traversed and the reunion takes place in the artificial space of a constantly-changing garden that transcends every system imposed on it.
