1963: Good night Skopje

The 1963 Skopje earthquake was a 6.1 moment magnitude earthquake which occurred in Skopje, SR Macedonia (present-day North Macedonia) then part of the SFR Yugoslavia, on July 26, 1963, which killed over 1,070 people, injured between 3,000 and 4,000 and left more than 200,000 people homeless. About 80 percent of the city was destroyed.

Director Biography - Ilija Pavlov

llija Pavlov is Macedonian film producer, writer, director, director of photography, editor, photographer and artist. At the age of 18 he made his first short film "Different world" and because of that film was accepted at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2015 he started his own film production "Persona Film". He produced, wrote, directed, shot and edited films as Different world (Short, 2014), Fighter (Documentary short, 2016), Exit (Short, 2020), 1963: Good Night Skopje (Documentary short 2020), Rebirth: Voice of Silence (Feature 2020) and more that 50 experimental short film (1-5 min).
