Ruckus and Lane began making shorts in 2003 with the goal of continuing the rich tradition of southern storytelling by creating engaging, character driven films. Their latest short The 7 Sevens stars Brad Carter (True Detective, Sons of Anarchy, Ascension).
Their feature screenplay Rattle The Cage won the Atlanta Screenwriting Competition in 2014 and was a 2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist (Top 50). At the end of 2014, the Arabic language rights to the script were purchased by Image Nation (A Most Violent Year, Contagion, Flight) and produced in Jordan as Zinzana (Cell), to be released in 2015.
The Skyes are repped by Untitled Entertainment and are currently developing Rattle The Cage as their feature debut under the banner of their production company Crooked Crow Films.
