Originally from Loveland, Colorado, Sam moved to Los Angeles while finishing a film degree through Emerson College. She has worked in the film industry for the past few years at companies such as the The William Morris Agency, the United Talent Agency, Universal Pictures, and Sony Pictures Studios. Sam also coordinated a Hulu-exclusive web series at Sundance called Killer/Hope, featuring Christine Vachon and Ted Hope.
With "All the Way In" I focused on capturing an emotional arc through movement. Less narrative in form than my previous work, it was an exercise in constructing meaning and building attitude through dance. I used the piece to practice diving, with confidence, into the creative process.
