Veronica Solomon is an animation filmmaker with German-Romanian roots currently living in Tampere, Finland.
After completing her first studies in 2003 with a diploma in fine arts at the “Art and Design Academy” Cluj-Napoca, Romania and until beginning her studies at the Babelsberg Film University in 2011, she has pursued various creative professions: from costume design and production design, comics festival management, magazine art direction, illustration and finally animation for television and advertising.
Before, during and after studying at the Film University, she produced several short films and music videos alone or in small teams, which were presented at international film festivals. In her work, Veronica deals mostly with the representation of psychological and social phenomena.
