Carlos Sargedas was born in Sesimbra. He was born into a family linked to the arts, where for generations his ancestors were people of some importance in Opera, Music, Cinema, Radio and Theater and Television. He worked in several theaters opposite some of the great names of Portuguese theater and with them he learned a lot about stage art on stage and backstage. He was also in the technical area where he finished his activity at the Teatro Maria Matos where he took the first steps in photography and is nowadays photographer with more than 36 years of activity linked to the production of photography and video, producer, director and with work spread a little by this world.

Collaborator with several publications. Several books published on the Arrábida Region, having twice received the "Personality of the Year" award by Turismo de Portugal for its work in promoting the Region and Country, across borders. The Municipal Assembly of Sesimbra awarded it the highest Cultural Prize of the Autarchy the "Prize Espichel" for its work in cultural and artistic dynamism for its work. In the last 15 years, it has been dedicated to the promotion of promotional films, having received prizes in International Festivals in Greece, Poland, Mexico, Indonesia, USA, Canada, Brazil, France, Serbia, Czech Republic, Turkey, India, Indonesia , Israel.
