CHIARAVALLE VISUAL MEMORY
A diary of a visionary trip, a time's story. A research of the identity of a community.
The film was realized by heterogeneous audiovisual materials, such as digital and analog tapes, gathered by Luca Berardi among the hinabitants of Chiaravalle (Milan) during his artistic residency of 5 weeks. Chiaravalle's Abbay, the more visible memory of the country is compared to the invisible memories of the inhabitants hidden in their drawers. Video footages and photographs are readed again by means of words such “elsewhere” who caracterize the artistic research of the author, in a collective story, mirror of the present community.
A found footage film.
