I'm Here Too - Festival Version

Teenager, Claire Prescott (Carol Elsden), has the perfect life; a family who cherish her, a boyfriend who adores her and friends who admire her, she even has the social respect with over 2,000 followers on Instagram - so why does she suffer from depression? I'm Here Too, tells the touching story, through the eyes of Claire, as she narrates her thoughts and emotions, whilst struggling to uncover the answer to the ultimate question - Is her life worth living? As the emotional journey unfolds, Claire's narrative, explains an intricate and emotional topic in an intelligible way, as she endures the trials and tribulations of her severe depression, but by the time she finally realises she doesn't have to suffer in silence, it may be too late.

Director Biography - Brendan Byrne, Marissa Kaye

Brendan is an Australian based Actor and Filmmaker who has now starred in over 20 films. These include the international multi-award, winning short film 'Bleeding Backs', 'Half/Human' and 'Death's Waiting Room', alongside Aussie legend Roger Ward (Mad Max, Boar, Turkey Shoot); which he also helped to produce.

Brendan believes, that in order to get noticed, you need product, so in 2011 he decided to start creating his own. He has since gone on to write, direct, act and produce more than ten short films of his own, including the controversial short film, 'I'm Here Too', which is aimed at teen suicide prevention, and is gaining international recognition and awards.

Brendan lives by the motto "It takes a certain degree of obsession to succeed", and he is known among his fellow actor's and filmmakers as an up and coming artist to watch, due to his talent, dedication and commitment.
