INIQUITY

Like her father and brother before her, nobody wants to be a detective more than Beth Gray. INIQUITY follows the spontaneous path of the young forensic-psychology intern as she steps outside the boundaries of doctor/patient confidentiality and pursues her every hunch and assumption with regards to the private murmurings of traveling salesman and functioning alcoholic, Marty “Fence” Blanchette. Marty, the success obsessed and abusive sales manager does his best to mask the demons of his childhood that stem all the way from age 7 when his single mother abandoned him to an orphanage to pursue a relationship with a wealthy man. These demons have returned in Marty’s adulthood since finding his wife hung by the neck in an apparent suicide almost one year ago. Now a string of serial killings that are all too similar to Marty’s wife’s “suicide,” have Beth Gray pushing the envelope as the young intern manipulates law enforcement and her clinical privileges in hopes of impressing her never present, retired policeman father by collaring a serial killer who is preying on high end, high maintenance women of money lust who inhabit the beach city nightlife of Southern California.
