Director Biography - Andy McEntire , Matt Burch

Andy McEntire is a filmmaker at Indie Atlantic Films, a Lakeland, FL-based company he founded in 2006. He started his career documenting travels all over the world as well as giving back to nonprofits through storytelling and filmmaking. He continues to direct commercials for national brands and segments for TV, and has begun to pursue narrative and documentary work with his friends and family. He's an Executive Producer for the feature documentary, Fly Like a Girl, a film created by his sister, Katie Wiatt, about women in aviation.

Andy's passion for filmmaking comes from a love for bringing awareness to social issues and for helping others dream big. Andy's inspired by his wife, Ashley, and their son, Crosley.
*******
Matt’s known he’s wanted to tell stories since he suffered permanent trauma from watching Hitchcock’s “Psycho” at the tender age of eight. Since then, he’s bounced between the film and advertising worlds, cutting his teeth as an intern for producer Scott Rudin, working as an assistant to the director Martin Brest, and creating branded content for organizations like the YWCA, Vanderbilt University, LinkedIn, and the Bravo TV show “Top Chef.”

He lives in Nashville with his two kids, two dogs, one wife, one
mortgage, and one unrelenting case of existential dread that he
and his analyst(s) are working on.
