A good night out!

A short film about a good night out at the infamous Kelderbar in VERA, the Club for the International Underground in Groningen, NL. With over 200 volunteers VERA is a special place where people find a home in music. Friendships are made and bonds are tied for life. Marinke is one of those volunteers and we find out why this Kelderbar (cellar bar) is so important to her.

Director Biography - René Duursma

Sometimes director, editor or cameraman René has a full time job as a film archivist of mainly ephemeral home movies at the Groninger Archives in his hometown Groningen. He is also a member of Kinetophone, a band dedicated to composing live soundtracks to classic films, and composing for documentary shorts.
