In a world of ever increasing materialism, where success is defined by lower vibrations like status, power and money instead of love and happiness, Dreamer 2, the second film in the Dreamer Series, endeavors to remind us that human dreams still remain simple and pro-life.

The Dreamer Series touches various social issues plaguing mankind at this moment, with each film dedicated to one or more specific issues. Dreamer 2 touches an important subject: women’s education. If we are to go by statistics 40% of girls drop out before completing primary education. This number itself is alarming as education is not only a birth right but also one of the most fundamental aspects of human growth

Dreamer 2 follows the story of a girl whose future schooling is threatened by her step-father. He is of the opinion that she is better off working at home than studying in school.

However, true to the style of films in The Dreamer Series, the inherent issues are highlighted in a very abstract and surreal way; a very unique approach when compared to mainstream films on social issues which tend to be more direct. It is an earnest effort by the production team to bring intelligent cinema back to the masses.
