Director Statement

When I first heard "La Fabbrica del Talento"(The Talent Factory) by 2eleMenti, I thought of circus atmospheres. But listening again I began to feel that beyond the musical vivacity there was a truth that had something to do with the human carousel. And so we recreated our small factory of talent, inviting people to present themselves at the auditions, organizing the casting in the small towns of Basilicata(pretty unknown South Italy Region), with a "prize" in cash and the asset to accommodate a human circus .But compared to the italian stereotype of "casting" television, we did not play with people with a funny approach, nor with their grotesque side. On the contrary, giving them the right tools (the point of view, the control of the lights, the quality of the photography, etc.) to enhance what it could happen in front of our eyes.
Watching the video of The Talent Factory, I think that it was an incredible adventure. It has always been a right intuition, confirmed by participation: people of all kinds, from professionals to aspiring aspirants, from the barman who passed by to the most bizarre characters, all were performing in front of our cameras, they put themselves into play and as well they have played with us.
