Author of two poetry books, Intimate Distances (City of Vancouver Book Prize finalist) and Enter the Chrysanthemum, Fiona Tinwei Lam's work appears in over 30 anthologies, including The Best of the Best Canadian Poetry in English (10th anniversary edition). She has recently won The New Quarterly’s Nick Blatchford prize. She edited The Bright Well: Contemporary Canadian Poetry about Facing Cancer. I like to approach my poetry videos differently each time, to reflect the nature of the poem and the images. Animation seems perfectly suited to poetry.
