Jonathan is a film about true friendship & rock n roll. From a teenagers innocent dreams of stardom to the harsher realities of the real world, this documentary shows what has to be sacrificed in order to chase musical ambition.

Jonathan 'Joe' Bramley is one of New Zealand’s jolliest and most accomplished bass players, having shared stages with Eddie Vedder, Neil Finn, Queens Of The Stone Age, Coldplay and more. This is a story of maturity, nostalgia and a genial chap full of youthful vigour on the cusp of stardom.

Director Biography - Ben Timony

Ben Timony is an Australian based Film and Television Stills Photographer and Behind The Scenes Director.

Ben has worked on numerous productions around Australia shooting stills and directing behind the scenes documentaries. His work has been published in EMPIRE magazine, Film Ink, IF Magazine, Rolling Stone, GQ, ELLE, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post and been exhibited on buses, bus stops and trams around Australia.

Ben won Best Editing at Melbourne Web Fest for the documentary series “The Graceland Happiness Project” which also won Best Documentary at NYC Web Fest.
