Zoë Birse graduated from Excelsia College with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts and has worked as an actress in a number of short films since. Zoë has recently discovered a passion for directing and has worked as the Assistant Director on the short films Obsolete and The Intentions of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Unspoken is her first film as Director.
Directing Unspoken has been a humbling and exciting process, and I am very proud of what we have achieved. The themes the film deal with are close to my heart and I am thankful that we have had such immense support. Given that it is a heavy topic, I made sure the cast and crew had fun during the process. It is my hope that Unspoken helps people to "talk" about what is ultimately a challenging subject.
