The poet on the Moon, inspired by the cinema of fantasy and science fiction of the 50's, tells the story of a child, Serguéi, who by his effort and courage becomes a cosmonaut of the Soviet Union. Appointed to travel to the moon with the mission to carry the complete works of the poet Alexander Pushkin, will reveal before his eyes a secret that will make doubt all his beliefs.

El poeta en la Luna, inspirado en el cine de fantasía y ciencia ficción de los años 50´s, cuenta la historia de un niño, Serguéi, que por su esfuerzo y valor llega a convertirse en cosmonauta de la Unión Soviética. Designado para viajar a la Luna con la misión de llevar las obras completas del poeta Alexander Pushkin, se revelará ante sus ojos un secreto que hará poner en duda todas sus creencias.

Director Biography - Sol Martínez

Sol Martinez was born in Buenos Aires on 03/01/1972. Raised by parents artists, from an early age he was interested in cinema. At 16 he directed "Rouge", a short film shot in Super 8 mm. Then when he was an grown man decided, after leaving a medical career, to dedicate to study film at the CIEVYC (Center for research and experimentation in video and film) where he directed: "ROUTE 512", "From the Inside", "Natural Selection", "Sola Mia " , "The poet on the Moon" and "The cowardice of traitors ".

Sol Martínez nació en Buenos Aires el 01/03/1972. Hijo de padres artistas, desde temprana edad se interesó por el cine. A los 16 años dirigió "Rouge", un cortometraje filmado en Super 8 mm. Luego, en la edad adulta, decide dejar la carrera de Medicina para dedicarse a estudiar cine en el CIEVYC (Centro de investigación y experimentación en video y cine) Dirigió: "ROUTE 512", "Desde Adentro", " Natural Selection ", " Sola Mía " , " El Poeta en la luna " y "La Cobardía de los Traidores".
