Director Biography - Livio Fornoni

Born in Bergamo (Italy) in 1979, I started to make my first videos in 2001. In 2007 I founded my own association called “Altra Civiltà”, with the goal to produce experimental videos and documentaries.
Between 2008 and 2010 I worked as a volunteer in Papua New Guinea, living in harness with the local tribes. I documented this two-year experience in two documentaries: "Altra Civiltà Expedition in New Guinea" (2008), and "Reportage from Chimbu" (2010).
Between 2012 and 2014 I spent six months in various US cities filming the most degraded suburbs for an upcoming documentary.
