Director Biography - David Chausse, Simon Frenay

Simon Frenay

After 2 years at the Cours Florent, Simon started his career with a small part in "The Army of Crime" directed by Robert Guédguian in 2008 who trust him again for his next film "The snows of Kilimanjaro". In Spain, he had the leading part in "Elias" directed by Clement Badin. He flew to India where he appeared in two movies "Shab" directed by Onir starring Raveena Tandon, Arpita Pal and Ashish Bisht and "The Bioscopewallah" by Deb Medekhar alongside Geetanjali Thapa and Danny Denzongpa. He is now working on a Swiss feature film directed by Valentin Merz.

David Chausse

Après sa formation à l'école des Enfants Terribles à Paris, et au Studio d'Asnières, David tourne pour la télévisions dans des unitaires et téléfilms, notamment avec des réalisateurs comme Alain Tasma, Jean Pierre Mocky,Alexandre Laurent. Au cinéma, on le retrouve dans 4.48 de Jacky Katu et
dans La belle endormie de Catherine Breillat, ainsi que dans de nombreux courts métrages parmi
lesquels «Je suis ton meilleur ami» qu'il réalise avec Ambroise Sabbagh (Grand prix Nikon festival
2017 ).
Cette première expèrience lui donne dorénavant envie de mêler son métier d'acteur à celui de
réalisateur.
Son film 4 fromages, produit par Apache films, est actuellement en financement.
