Director Biography - Frank Rajah Arase

He is no doubt a renowned name in the African film industry with multiple and credible awards to his credit.

Winner, Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2014 best film Drama, AMVCA 2016 best art director, Nollywood African Film Critic’s awards (NAFCA) 2011 best African film director held in North Carolina, USA; Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) 2012 Houston, USA; Zulu African Film Awards (ZAFA) 2011 London. He also received the honour of most outstanding contributor to the Ghanaian Film industry by the Ghana Movie Awards & a host of other credible awards from both local and international recognition.

Frank Rajah Arase is a Nigerian filmmaker from Edo state. He is an Arts graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti. He started his film-directing career in 1999 and has directed films with distinction among renowned names in both the Nigerian and Ghanaian film industries. Today he is no doubt one of Africa’s finest film directors of this time.
