Delivery
After countless mistakes and failures, Damien receives many complaints about misdelivered mail. These complaints are given to his boss who is not happy about his performance on the job.
The boss confronts Damien about his poor work ethic, commanding that he'd take responsibility for his job and gives him one final chance: to deliver a special delivery by 12 PM, the next day. Damien sees this ultimatum and jumps to the opportunity to correct his flaws.
After waking up late, Damien rushes to change and leave the house, leaving only to find that his car wouldn't start.
He has to run!
Damien runs through the city, running through parks, getting chased by dogs and getting hit by a car! He faces many obstacles in his way until he arrives at his destination on time.
However, upon delivering the parcel, he realises that he had read the wrong address. He sprints to the correct destination and waits at the flat door.
Waiting, Damien knocks and nearly gives up until Jack, the true recipient of the parcel, bumps into him. Damien, tired, collapses and sits on the floor of the hallway and Jack checks his well-being. Damien asks about what's in the package and Jack opens it. Damien then notices Jack's reaction to the parcel - a smile. He looks at Jack, visibly happy with the package and realises that the job isn't about him or his boss but the people who receive the mail. Damien smiles back.

Aspiring film writer and director, Chris Fernandez is currently making short films under the trading name, Gravitate Productions. He also makes music videos and motion graphics for clients across his city, Coventry.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, production had to end and so certain scenes had to be cut and reshoots were cancelled. This meant that I couldn't reshoot some of the scenes that had missed a few parts of key dialogue as well as some comedic beats. However, we had enough footage to make a complete film.
The theme of the film is responsibility and we did our best to convey that realisation of Damien's responsibility over the people he delivers to. I hope that those my age can watch this film and think about their own work ethics and those who they have responsibility over while enjoying this film.
