In all their inexperience, the two women spend two years shooting, make 5000 kilometers, talk to established women directors and record every moment of this journey of discovery and self-discovery. Director Biography - Su Baloglu, Merve Bozcu

Su Baloglu was born in 1987 in Famagusta, Cyprus. In 2012, she graduated from Carleton University with a B.A. in Film Studies. Upon finishing university, she returned to Turkey and completed an M.A. in Kadir Has University in Cinema and Television program and worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate film students. She worked and volunteered in various domestic and international film festivals such as Antalya Film Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, and Inside Out LGBT Festival. In 2009 she co-founded the production company Su Film and started producing fiction and non-fiction films. In 2015 she produced “Women with a Movie Camera” a short documentary film as partial fulfillment of her M.A. degree. In 2017 she directed and produced “Her First”, a feature documentary on women filmmakers of Turkey. She is the co-founder of Istanbul chapter of the New York based women directors collective Film Fatales.
