Experiencing Interruptions?

The sea has provided food for humans since the dawn of time, and its abundant resources helped the development of great civilisations.
Today, the ocean is the main source of sustenance for half of the world's population.
Nearly 4 billion people depend on its incredible diversity and abundance to survive.
In recent decades, pollution, global warming and overfishing have pushed the planet's natural surpluses to the limit. Today, illegal fishing represents around 20% of the global catch.
Aware of the growing pressure on marine resources, the international community has put in place policies to protect the most affected species and ecosystems.
Thanks to hard work, many of them have recovered, but more needs to be done to ensure the long-term preservation of resources, which is why responsible and well-managed fisheries are vital for our future.
Do we know how one of the most consumed foods on the planet is obtained?
