Matthias is a young filmmaker from Germany, studying near Nuremberg at the moment.
For this uni-project, he wrote the script himself and took on the role of the producer and director aswell.
It took just over a year from early ideas, to the finished film to be created.
For Matthias it was the first project of this size as a director and the first time working with professionel actors.
He took on the role of the director previously in smaller uni-projects and was always keen on learning and trying directing.
He is planing on continuing his studies and specialising even more on directing.
This was my first project of this size for me personaly. We did a couple of smaller university-projects previously and I mostly took on the role of the director in those. I enjoyed filling that role and it was quite fun even though we didn´t have professionel actors.
So to be able to work with professionels for the first time in this movie was really exciting but also challenging for me!
As I got to grips with my actors more and more I knew this was going to be great!
I´m very thankful for my actors, they´ve been absolutly amazing in their acting and really nice in person.
I´m very happy with the result and it was such a pleasure on set.
I really enjoyed being the director on this project!
