Rob Leicester Wagner is a journalist/filmmaker and author of nearly two dozen books. He is the great-grandson of silent film director Rob Wagner. During more than 40 years as a journalist Wagner's reporting ranged from legal affairs coverage in California to Middle East issues. He reported on the Middle East for 12 years from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Among his books are "Red Ink White Lies: The Rise and Fall of Los Angeles Newspapers, 1920-1962," "Sleeping Giant," "Witness to a Century" and "Hollywood Bohemia: The Roots of Progressive Politics in Rob Wagner's Script." His documentary, "Searching for Halifax NP711," is his first film. Wagner is the founder of Flying Goose Productions, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with offices in Southern California.
