Ajyal (Generations)

In pre-production for this documentary film examining three generations of Saudi women. The post-war generation experienced autonomy and complete freedom in Saudi Arabia, only to face a severe curtailment of freedoms following 1979 Islamic Revolution. The second generation, commonly known in the West as Generation X, grew up under oppression, while the millennials growing up in post-9/11 society experienced no such oppression. Their experiences, family dynamics between the generations and future are examined.
