Melissa is an actress making her debut as a writer/director.
Born in Canada, raised in France, she found a home in London, UK for 10 years. Now, after two years exploring life in Montreal, Canada, she is back in London, UK.
Her first experimental short, TWO IN A MILLION shows a glimpse of what it can mean for struggling actors, to put themselves in the background.
Millions of actors are out of a job today.
The daily competition can be frustrating & exhausting.
Yet, we often find a poetic solidarity among all unemployed artists.
For a few minutes, I have wished to bring two of them closer, in the foreground & in all their candor.
