Director Statement

I’ve been in film business as a film music composer/audio engineer for a while and my directing adventure began with my music videos years ago. I know ins and outs of film making and always wanted to shoot my own films but I’ve been procrastinating it. My lovely wife who is a novelist and the owner of this film’s story encouraged me to do it. My first step was to adapt her short story to a screenplay with some of my own touch. One of the main reasons I wanted to tell this story is because it has no dialogue in it which breaks the boundary of language and speaks to everyone directly. The second reason is the ethical, psychological and philosophical question it asks: where do we draw the line between good and evil? I wanted to make the viewer question this and give their own answers. It ended up being a tougher journey than I expected because I was literally the only crew of the film but with the support of my leading actors and my wife the film turned out into something I am really proud of and I wanted to share this wonderful story with the world.
