"Rails" tells the story of Dimitris, a long-term unemployed and seriously ill man in his late 50s, who is pushed to his limit in the heavily crisis-stricken small town of Drama, in Northern Greece.

Panagiotis Charamis was born in Drama, Greece.
He studied film theory at University of Kent at Canterbury and completed his MA in Filmmaking at Kingston University in 2009.
Since then, he has been working as a freelancer on short dramas, documentaries, TV & Web commercials.
Panagiotis is currently based in Istanbul, Turkey.
