Conroy Esterhuizen is a SAFTA nominated video editor.
He graduated from the South African Film and Drama Academy in 2005, majoring in film editing.
Conroy has worked on everything from commercials, documentaries, film and television. After a brief stint at the magazine program Top Billing, he assisted on the Emmy nominated TV series Sokhulu and Partners.
He is currently working as an in-house editor for the Values Campaign at e.tv, focusing mainly on documentary inserts.
He just finished his first independent Feature Film: 'There's No Place Like Home' which was shot in 9 days.
The Method' is a biting satire about a culture obsessed with celebrity and individuals struggling with personal identity.
With the lack of role-models today people are desperately looking for someone to look up to but find their idol has but feet of clay.
Dark comedy is not generally a genre associated with the South African film industry so this film will be breaking new ground in local film-making but it is universal in it's themes of celebrity-worship.
