Tomboy
Tomboy is a documentary about Tiril, a lesbian girl who grew up believing that she was a boy. In retrospect she looks back at her childhood and discover how the media lacks representation about the queer community and how that affected her gender identity.

Tiril is a young, new filmmaker who focus on telling queer stories and movies with queer characters in them. She tells stories by both the genre documentary and fiction and seek to make more inspiring movies in the future.
Tiril Myhre Skår(b.1997) is a young filmmaker who focus on telling queer stories and movies with queer characters in them. She graduated with a bachelor degree in film in 2019 and during her last semester she managed to have her documentary "Tomboy" shown at Kristiansand International Children's Filmfestival. Later on it was shown at BUSTER filmfestival in Copenhagen. She has also shown her shortfilm "Are You Asleep?" at the Norwegian Short Filmfestival in Grimstad in 2018.
