Scar Tissue
Scar Tissue is the story of Larissa and Alec, friends from work, who are checking out Alec's new apartment after happy hour one day. During a tit for tat comparison of childhood scars, Larissa shows Alec a scar below her waistband. He misinterprets it as an act of seduction. Larissa finds herself in a position all too many women have. Did she lead him on? Is this her fault? Is this one more scar she will have to live with? When one thing leads to another, sometimes it leaves a mark.

JoAnne started her career as an actor in 1998. By 2002 she had the realization that a lot of actors have; if she wanted good material with which to act, she should write it herself. Her initial writing experience was a good one. In fact, she won the 2002 Amazing Short Script Challenge with her script "Old Man, Little Girl". She finally tossed her hat in the directing ring, directing a series of comedy shorts that can be seen on funnyordie.com, as well as writing and directing her first stage play, "The Late Great Sid Glick", in 2013. She has since adapted her play into a feature film. Scar Tissue is the latest drama that she wrote and directed.
