Accounting for Love
A nerdy young man named Kevin meets his dream girl Amy in a bar and luckily gets her phone number. However, because he doesn't think he's good enough, he tries to get rid of the bookworm figure he has by throwing away his books. While doing so, he accidentally loses the book with Amy’s number in it. He tries everything to get the book back but fails, only at the end to find out, Amy actually feels the same way about him all along.

Shaun Yu was a professional screenwriter in China. He's written short films and features that's been produced and broadcast on both TV and the internet. He is good at comedy, Sci-fi and romance. In fall 2016, he entered Chapman University as to pursuing an advanced career as a director. His previous work Sweet Silence was selected in Boston Sci-fi Film Festival, Creative Arts Film Festival and Super Geek Film Festival.
This piece explores how young men and women value themselves and each other. Often times they think low of themselves especially in front of the people they like and care about. To put it in the open that the two gender actually think alike, I wish to give the audience courage in the pursuit of love.
