Dirt Old Superstition is the brainchild of first-time female writer-director Antonia Arcella; a full time community college student at the time of filming, who changed majors after falling in love with the filmmaking process on this web series and transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University to study film. She has now graduated with her Bachelor's in Cinema, completed the series, and landed a full-time filmmaking job in the D.C. Metro area.
As a first-time filmmaker, I am thrilled to discover my web series has organically attracted nearly 1,000 followers on Facebook with an additional fanbase growing on other social media platforms. It was an incredible learn-by-doing experience. I got to work with such a diverse cast and crew from all backgrounds who helped pull off an immense ensemble piece that was beyond the scope of what should have been possible. I am proud of the team that made it possible.
