Four U.S. Marines steal $4 million from the U.S. Embassy amidst the U.S. evacuation from Vietnam during the Fall of Saigon in 1975. The drama unfolds with the Marines leaving the safety of the U.S. embassy compound en route to the port of Saigon in order to escape by boat. As they make their way by jeep through the streets of Saigon the heist unravels. The Marines encounter bandits who are determined to steal the stolen money, and the predicament of the Marines is further complicated by their inability to secure a boat. At the same time the Marines are being hunted down by a vindictive U.S. Army officer. All the participants are quickly running out of time as the North Vietnamese Army are on the verge of taking complete control of Saigon and thus closing America's involvement in Vietnam.
